La Copa FUT Champions* de Mánchester arranca el 13 de abril. Será el segundo evento del año de la FIFA 18 Global Series. Los 128 mejores competidores de los marcadores de la Jornada de FUT de febrero que cumplan los requisitos (64 de PlayStation®4 y 64 de Xbox One) se enfrentarán durante 3 días por la oportunidad de conseguir uno de los 16 billetes para las eliminatorias de la Global Series y una parte de los 200 000 $ del premio.
El listado de la Copa FUT Champions de Mánchester incluye desde veteranos consolidados a recién llegados al FIFA competitivo, lo que demuestra que este torneo es un primer paso accesible a cualquiera en el camino hacia la cúspide del juego competitivo de FIFA 18. Cualquier jugador de FIFA 18 que cumpla los requisitos puede saltar del sofá al podio de campeón.
El listado de Mánchester incluye algunos de los nombres más grandes del FIFA competitivo, como el vencedor de la Copa FUT Champions de Barcelona, Donovan Hunt (alias «DHTekKz») y el subcampeón Nicolás Villalba («Nicolas99fc»), que se aseguró ser cabeza de serie de PlayStation®4 en la clasificación de este torneo. Tampoco hay que perder de vista al cabeza de serie de Xbox, Ryan Pessoa («Hashtag Ryan»), que cayó eliminado en Barcelona a manos de DhTekKz y se prepara ya para una competición dura en Mánchester.
