On Saturday, Zinedine Zidane earned his first victory as manager of Real Madrid CF as they comfortably defeated Deportivo La Coruna 5-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu. Gareth Bale scored three goals, one in the first half and two in the second, to help the club win and keep up the pressure on leaders Atletico Madrid.

Speaking of Atlético, they took care of Celta Vigo 0-2 on Sunday still hold a two point lead atop the BBVA Standings. Diego Godín was solid in defense to help the club earn the clean sheet.

Napoli became the new leaders of Serie A after defeating Frosinone 1-5 on Sunday evening. Gonzalo Higuaín had two goals while Marek Hamšik put one in the back of the net. It’s very crowded at the top of the standings in Italy, with four clubs separated by only three points.
