Last Friday, SL Benfica defeated Belenense 0-5 to move into a tie for first place with cross-town rivals Sporting CP. Kostas Mitroglou scored three times in the win.

Southampton’s Fraser Forster has been incredible in goal for the club since returning from injury, securing five straight clean sheets. On Wednesday night, he made ten saves in their 0-0 draw with Arsenal. Then on Saturday night’s match against West Ham, he made two saves to help his side win the match 1-0.

Leicester City’s dream run continued with two huge wins last week. On Tuesday evening, they defeated Liverpool by the score of 2-0 with Jamie Vardy scoring both goals. Then on Saturday afternoon, they traveled to Manchester and defeated second-place Manchester City 1-3, with defender Robert Huth scoring twice in the win. The Foxes now hold a five point lead over 2^nd place Tottenham Hotspur, with their next match this Sunday at 3^rd place Arsenal.
