On Saturday, Bayern Munich had a huge 0-2 victory over VfL Wolfsburg to keep their eight-point lead in the Bundesliga. Manuel Neuer was fantastic with eight saves to earn the clean sheet.
Also on Saturday, it was the Madrid derby at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the visitors Atletico winning the match 0-1. Antoine Griezmann scored the winning goal in the 53rd minute.
Then on Sunday, FC Barcelona defeated Sevilla 2-1 to keep their five-point lead at the top of the standings. Gerard Piqué's goal in the 48th minute proved to be the winner.
