Thirty-two of the top FIFA Competitive Gamers from Europe will gather in Paris on February 4, 2017 as the road to the EA SPORTS FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship Final begins in the City of Lights.
How They Got Here
The competitors that will showcase their skills at this regional tournament qualified in November by competing in-game through the FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Weekend League and climbing to the top of the Monthly Leaderboards.
Players also qualified through live tournaments held across Europe, like August "Agge" Rosenmeier of Paris Saint-Germain eSports who won the DreamHack Winter 2016 FIFA 17 tournament.
Sixteen players on Xbox One and 16 on PlayStation 4 will compete for eight spots in Berlin at the Ultimate Team Championship Final, where the qualified FUT players from around the world will battle it out for the grand prize.
The Xbox Division and PlayStation Division remain fully separated until the final match of the tournament where the victors from each platform will face off to determine the regional champion.
Eight players in total will qualify for the UTC Final.
